$80.00
sold out

On January 24th from 10-12:30pm we’ll be hosting artist Maggie Johnson (Salad Bar Studio). Maggie specializes in nerikomi ceramics, working with hand-dyed stoneware clay. Her work is lively and colorful, and she welcomes unexpected outcomes in her pottery and wall hangings.

At the studio, she’ll be teaching a workshop on nerikomi wall hangings. We will learn about the process of dying clay and how to get yourself set up for working with nerikomi. We will also talk about Maggie’s philosophy of embracing the unexpected in the creative process. Students will create their own nerikomi wall hangings which the studio will glaze (in clear) and fire. Everyone will leave with the basic skills needed to work with colored clay!

This class in non-refundable, so please be sure you can make it before signing up!
