If you’re looking for a hands on instruction with one of our teachers, we offer private classes at the studio! Our private classes are great for people whose schedules don’t align with our 6 week classes, or for people who prefer learning in smaller groups.

We offer both hand-building and wheel throwing private classes. Both types of class are 2 hours long, and include 2 finished pots which we glaze and fire for students after the class.

Classes may be cancelled with a full refund minus processing fees up to 72 hours before the class begins. You can cancel via the confirmation email received after booking. Past this window, we are unfortunately unable to offer refunds for cancellations!

Wheel classes

We teach 1-3 people in our wheel throwing private classes. In the class we show students the basics of throwing on the wheel. The wheel throwing private classes are suitable for beginners or intermediate students, but if you’re looking for intermediate instruction please email hello@citymud.com before registering and let us know what material you’re hoping to learn.

The classes are 2 hours long and include 20 minutes of clean up. Students can keep 2 pots per person which we will glaze and fire after the class. Pots will be available for pickup 2-4 weeks after the class!
