Handbuilding a vase & flower arrangement workshop with The Story Of Flowers

In this two part workshop you’ll create your own unique vase out of clay and create a flower arrangement of beautiful local flowers to fill it!

part one: On Saturday April 20th from 10:30- 12:30 pm you’ll learn the basics of hand building and create a vase of your own creation. After the workshop we will fire and glaze your vase so that it is ready for you on May 4th.

part two: On Saturday May 4th from 10:30-12pm come back to the studio and learn about floral arrangement from Whitney of The Story Of Flowers. With her help you’ll create a beautiful flower arrangement of local spring blooms to fill your handbuilt vase

This workshop includes all clay, firings, and flowers. Just bring yourself!

We will have 5 different glaze choices for you to chose from for your vase, carefully selected so that they’ll match the flowers you’ll be using for your arrangement. The vases will be around 7” tall, and the arrangements around 7” high and 7” wide.
